Introduction to NARM® Workshop

Join us for this transformative two-day online workshop

Discover how NARM® can elevate your clinical work! This 2-day online workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®), a cutting-edge clinical approach for understanding and resolving the long-term impacts of complex trauma (C-PTSD) and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

 

NARM® is at the forefront of the Trauma-Informed movement, offering a non-pathologizing, humanistic model for supporting clients in working through the lasting impacts of early relational and developmental trauma. This Intro Workshop is designed for licensed psychotherapists, counselors, social workers, and other mental health professionals. Graduate students, trainees and interns working toward licensure are also welcome.

Continuing Education Details

This event is co-sponsored by the Complex Trauma Training Center and The Institute for Continuing Education. The program offers a total of 12.00 CE hours-  6.00 CE hrs. per day, with full attendance required.  There is no additional fee to submit application for continuing education credit. Attendees who wish to receive continuing education credit MUST complete CE forms and comply with attendance monitoring requirements.

Skill Level: Intermediate / Advanced.
 
Instruction Methodology: Didactic and theoretical learning to include lecture, question/answer periods, class-wide discussion, case examples and vignettes.

 

Ethics Hours / Academic Credit: This training   offers no “ethics hours”.  The training offers no “academic” credit and CE hours awarded are not eligible toward fulfillment of a degree.

 

Facilitators:

Brad Kammer, LMFT, LPCC is the founder and Training Director of the Complex Trauma Training Center. Brad is a licensed psychotherapist, educator, consultant, executive producer of the Transforming Trauma Podcast, and co-Author of The Practical Guide for Healing Developmental Trauma. Brad is a Senior Trainer in the NeuroAffective Relational Model®, teaches NARM® Therapist Trainings out of CTTC, and mentors NARM® Therapists.  Brad began his career as a Humanitarian Aid Worker in Asia which introduced him to personal and collective trauma. For over 25 years, Brad has been committed to supporting individuals and communities in the transformation of trauma.  Brad’s work integrates Somatic Psychology, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Relational Models, and wisdom from Traditional Cultures and Spiritual Traditions.  Brad lives in Northern California with his family and loves music, food and travel.

Kelli Klinger

CTTC Training Director and Senior Trainer

Lisa Gillispie, LPCC-S is a licensed clinical counselor based in Columbus, Ohio, with a rich background in somatic and trauma-informed care. She began her studies in the NeuroAffective Relational Model in 2017 and earned her NARM Master Therapist certification in 2021. Prior to becoming a counselor, Lisa spent over two decades as a trauma-informed bodyworker and is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She currently serves as a Lead Training Assistant and is on the Faculty Track with the Complex Trauma Training Institute. Lisa is deeply passionate about supporting fellow therapists in developing sustainable, embodied approaches to working with complex trauma, and brings warmth, depth, and clarity to her teaching.

Lisa Gillispie

NARM® Master Therapist

Stefanie Klein is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NARM Master Therapist, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She has 30 years of experience practicing psychotherapy with adults in her Los Angeles private practice and has specialized in treating trauma and anxiety for the past 20 years. Along with seeing clients, Stefanie serves as  the Assistant Training Director for the Complex Trauma Training Center where she is also a consultant and faculty in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and the new SPACE program for psychotherapists. In her role as a mentor and teacher of psychotherapists working with complex trauma, she is most inspired by the desire to support other therapists to not only feel more effective in their work with clients, but to also experience more ease and fulfillment in their professional roles.
