This webinar focuses on the genesis of eating disorders as a unique facet of the psychobiological adaptations in early life and how they show up in our clients' lives and the struggles they bring to us in their sessions. We will look at the neurobiology of the eating process and how a trauma-informed approach to seeing and treating disordered eating can be a major organizing factor in creating a new, present-time, body-led, relationship with food. We will draw a map that helps the practitioner navigate what really drives the unconscious behaviors which clients wish to shift.
