Masters Consultation Groups

with Brad Kammer, Stefanie Klein, and Marcia Black

Case Consultation Groups provide mental health professionals with a supportive space to explore the clinical application of the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®). Whether you’re already trained in NARM, or simply curious about learning more, these groups let you explore diverse clinical challenges through a NARM lens and gain insight into how to work more effectively with your most challenging clients.

  • What You'll Experience

    • Present your own client cases and gather input from both faculty and peers

    • Hear how others apply NARM® in varied clinical contexts

    • Engage in rich discussion, co-reflection, and focused feedback

    • Explore advanced clinical questions, dilemmas, and developmental challenges

    • Strengthen your embodiment of NARM® principles in real-world work

  • How It Works

    • Each consultation is 2 hours, led by senior NARM® faculty

    • Participants may volunteer to present a client case (background, clinical work, sticking points, and specific questions)

    • Each presenter receives ~15–30 minutes for sharing + discussion (adjusted based on group rhythm)

    • When not presenting, you engage via chat, “raise hand,” or discussion prompts

    • If invited to speak directly, you may join live dialogue with faculty and presenter

    • During presentations:
        • Share brief background (1–2 minutes) to orient the group
        • Identify the client goals, what’s been effective so far, and where you’re stuck
        • Pose targeted NARM questions or areas where you seek support

    • Because of time constraints, not all presenters or chat comments may be addressed; facilitators do their best to maximize participation

    • Always maintain client confidentiality: do not include identifying details, and feel free to alter details to protect privacy.

  • Important Notes

    • Full participation is required to receive your confirmation email for the NARM Therapist Certificate Logs
    • Most likely, not everyone who would like to engage one-on-one with the provider will be able to. We will do the best we can to get to everyone throughout the group consult, but if you are not called on, or your chat is not answered, we ask that you keep this in mind. If this is something that might not work for you, we’d ask you not to participate in this Group Consult and instead seek an Individual Consult.
    • Refunds or transfers are possible if you contact admin@complextraumatrainingcenter.com at least 5 days prior to the session
    • These sessions are educational, not supervision or therapy, and not confidential. Be mindful of professional, ethical, and legal boundaries in what you share.
