The Complex Trauma Training Center presents:
NARM® Masters Training:
The Transformative Process of Intersubjectivity
with Brad Kammer, LMFT, LPCC
"When moving deeper into the intersubjective field, differences between biology, psychology and spirituality become blurred. The integration of body, mind and soul becomes the catalyst for a client’s awakening of their authentic sense of Self. On this level, the healing of complex trauma and personality patterns supports deepening connection between human beings. With NARM®, we are learning what it means to support each other to become more fully human."
- Brad Kammer
In this advanced NARM® Masters Training, we will move deeper into the theoretical and clinical foundations of the NeuroAffective Relational Model. Recognizing the humanity and heartfulness at the foundation of NARM®, we will continue exploring the relational, embodied and depth-oriented skills that are essential to healing complex trauma and resolving disorganized personality patterns.
We will continue to deepen our NARM® clinical skills - integrating both Western Psychological and Traditional Wisdom approaches - to address the challenging interplay of complex trauma and personality disorders (“Disorders of the Self”). Working with our clients’ shame-based identifications and survival strategies – in the form of disorganized personality patterns including narcissistic, borderline and schizoid personality dynamics – becomes less challenging as we are able to apply the NARM® Relational Model and work with deep levels of intersubjectivity from a quieter place within ourselves. We will continue to deepen and refine NARM® interventions that can be applied with clients dealing with extreme forms of complex trauma and personality disorders.
The NARM® Masters Training greatly expands on the NARM® Therapist training and strengthens the capacity for NARM® Therapists to work bottom-up and top-down – within a deeply interpersonal and transpersonal process – for transforming the most early, profound and complex trauma.
To participate in the NARM® Master Therapist Training, you must have completed all four modules of the NARM® Therapist Training, and be a licensed mental health professional (Psychologists, Social Workers, MFTs, Counselors) or an active mental health graduate student/intern working toward licensure. Note: You can join the NARM Master Therapist Training even if you have not completed all of your NARM Therapist Certificate Requirements.
"We are excited to explore deeper together into the NARM® approach for supporting reconnection to one’s lived experience so that our clients – and ourselves – can feel more fully alive and become more fully human."
- Brad Kammer & the NARM® Masters Training Team

We appreciate that so many mental health professionals work from a spirit of social justice and advocacy. At the Complex Trauma Training Center, we are also grounded in a strong commitment to addressing healing complex trauma as a vehicle for both personal and social transformation. The vision and passion for our trauma-informed Center is to introduce a more humane approach for working with complex trauma, which includes addressing attachment, developmental, relational, cultural and intergenerational trauma. This also includes a strong commitment to promoting accessibility to the NARM model, creating a learning environment that supports diversity and fosters inclusion, and holding the intention to support connection and learning from each other.
We also want to be transparent with the intention for this Level 3 training so all prospective NARM training participants know what this training will provide and what it will not provide. The Level 3 NARM Master Therapist Training is an advanced psychotherapeutic training and will provide a comprehensive clinical training on the NeuroAffective Relational Model. This Level 3 training is not focused on social or political activism and will not provide specific training in addressing the systemic failures that perpetuate complex trauma. While we do acknowledge and discuss the origins of complex trauma emerging out of social systems and the legacy of unresolved cultural and intergenerational trauma, if your focus is in these areas, or you are wanting a trauma-informed training that will provide deeper training in these areas, we would encourage you to explore other trainings.
We recognize that every training participant has different needs around their learning process and goals. We understand that if the NARM Therapist Training does not deliver on what you are expecting that this could impact your learning process. So we want you to have a clear understanding of the boundaries of this Level 3 NARM Master Therapist Training. This promotes clarity for us all.
While the Level 3 NARM Master Therapist Training itself will not specifically focus on addressing these important areas of changing systems that maintain systemic oppression and inequalities, we do very much hope that our NARM Graduates will work in the many systems they are associated with and can use NARM to impact these systems for the better. We support these efforts outside the Level 3 NARM Master Therapist Training and are excited to be providing people with what we believe is a great psychoeducational model to promote real change.
