Narcissism from the Inside-Out:

A 2-Day Experiential Training for Therapists

Exploring Narcissistic Dynamics in Ourselves as Therapists to Enhance Relational Presence and Clinical Effectiveness

FRIDAY, JANUARY 23-SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026

8:00 AM - 3:30 PM PACIFIC TIME

ONLINE VIA ZOOM

You’re invited to join us for the very first workshop in our new Inside-Out Learning Series, launching in 2026. Each workshop in the series will focus on a different clinical theme, offering an immersive and experiential space for therapists who are ready to take a deeper dive into their own growth as the foundation for clinical effectiveness.

Transform Your Relationship with Narcissism—From the Inside-Out

Narcissism is often seen as something that exists “out there”—in our clients, the culture, or the people we struggle with. But what if the most powerful way to understand and heal narcissistic dynamics is by turning inward?

Narcissism from the Inside-Out is a 2-day, experiential workshop designed for therapists who want to deepen their clinical presence and expand their relational effectiveness by exploring narcissism through a personal and embodied lens.

Rather than focusing solely on theory, this training invites participants to engage in meaningful self-inquiry and experiential practices that uncover how narcissistic patterns live within all of us—often subtly, unconsciously, and protectively. By turning toward our own lived experience, we can more compassionately understand and skillfully work with narcissism in the therapeutic space.

Facilitated by Brad Kammer, LMFT, LPCC—internationally recognized educator, author, and trauma therapist—this workshop provides a rare opportunity to bridge deep personal insight with advanced clinical mastery, integrating cutting-edge trauma theory with embodied, relational practice.

What You'll Learn

  • A Transformative Lens on Narcissism

Reframe your understanding of narcissism as a protective adaptation rooted in early trauma—not solely pathology. Learn to view narcissistic traits through a developmental, compassionate lens.

  • Recognize the Spectrum of Narcissistic Expression

Discover how adaptive and maladaptive, overt and covert narcissistic patterns show up not only in clients, but also in therapists—and how to work skillfully with all expressions.

  • Assess the Impacts of Narcissism on the Clinical Relationship

Develop sharper insight into how narcissistic dynamics can emerge clinically—often in disguised, relationally complex ways.

  • Explore the Therapist’s Inner World

Explore disavowed feelings—such as grief, helplessness, resentment, anger, disgust, and shame—and uncover how they may relate to narcissistic dynamics in yourself and your clients.

  • Hold Boundaries with Heart

Strengthen your ability to set clear, compassionate boundaries while maintaining relational presence and attunement—especially in moments of relational challenge.

  • Transform Narcissistic Enactments into Healing Moments

Discover how to work through narcissistic ruptures in real-time, and use them as gateways to relational repair, trust, resilience, and deeper connection.

  • Use Self as Instrument

Engage in experiential and reflective practices designed to promote your inner development and enhance therapeutic presence and client outcomes.

  • Bridge the Psychological and the Spiritual

Integrate transpersonal and shadow-oriented perspectives to help clients reconnect to meaning, purpose, and authentic self-expression.

Whether you're navigating challenging client relationships or simply seeking to deepen your clinical work, this immersive program bridges personal insight with professional mastery — offering a more integrated and embodied approach to working with narcissistic patterns.

We’d love to have you join us for the very first workshop in our new Inside-Out Learning Series. Each training will explore a different theme, offering deeper dives into the inner work that strengthens therapeutic presence. More topics are coming in 2026 — stay tuned for announcements.
